This wheel is for customers who are not concerned about having a radius edge, it offers more flat area on both the surface and sides than any of our other wheels. The wheel edge is covered with CBN material and is a full 1.5 inches wide and 8-inches in diameter. The side faces are a full 1-inch of CBN material! Because we use 6061 Aluminum this beast of a wheel only weighs in at 2.45kg.

For sharpening wood lathe chisels

Nice wide surface makes for easier balance on sharpening gouges. The wheel is perfectly balanced with tight tolerance. No wobble whatsoever, I did not need to use specialty balancing washers. Huge improvement over the white aluminum oxide wheels that came with grinder. I got the 350 grit, plan on getting the 180 when the sales hit.
